FONDATION DU CENTRE JEUNESSE DE MONTRÉAL
The Fondation du Centre jeunesse de Montréal is committed to giving a voice to and empowering DYP children and adolescents. With the support of the community and its partners, the foundation funds projects that contribute to their development and facilitate their transition to adulthood. It also plays a key role in making the cause of helping troubled youth a public priority.
THE IMPACT OF THE FOUNDATION
The foundation responds to needs that, outside of the
DYP context, would be met by parents or families.
The foundation is the main vehicle for DYP workers for developing the interests and aspirations of young people and for responding to their specific needs.
Through its support programs, the foundation helps DYP children from newborns to age 25. Services cover a wide range of needs, from toddler stimulation kits, moving into an apartment of their own, scholarships, alternative therapies, and sports activities.
